Happily Ever After Party.

We met in kind of a funny, unexpected way—right on the corner of First Street in Snohomish. Jon was there waiting to pick up a friend from the bar, and I was across the street at Mandy’s girls' night. At some point, her neighbor asked us to watch his hot dog stand (yes, really!). While Mandy and I were keeping an eye on the stand, Jon struck up a conversation with Mandy. I overheard something and, thinking he might've called my friend racist, I jumped in to clarify—thankfully, that wasn’t the case! From there, Jon and I just kept talking… mostly about art, life, and everything in between. And that was it. Something clicked. We had our first date the very next day, on August 3, 2013, and we’ve been together ever since.
