Michael Emerson Croft and Jonquil Nickhole Cristofaro began their journey together on February 1st of 2024. They met online and quickly became inseparable. Michael proposed at a Harry Potter Forbidden Forest exhibit on October 16th, 2025. Jonquil and Michael have 2 dogs named Harlowe and Milo, plus 4 cats, Bruce, Lilly, Agatha (Peanut), and Sebastian. This January, after 12 short years, they made the tough decision to put their third dog, Nashville down.
Evan and Emma

Evan is Mike’s younger brother by 2 years. Growing up they didn’t always see eye to eye. Later down the line once they became young adults the relationship evolved and they turned into the best of friends. Evan met Emma in September 2019, they were engaged in March of 2020, and married October later that year. They have 3 wonderful dogs, Lyra and Piper the greyhounds, plus Willow the great dane.
Mikaela
Bridesmaid
Mikaela is Jonquils younger sister, by 2 years. They have been friends their whole lives and became even closer as they grew into adults. Mikaela is a gifted crafter. She enjoys crocheting, resin art, and sewing. Mikaela has 2 ferrets and a spoiled rotten chihuahua/yorkie named Zelda that all keep her busy. Zelda is Nashvilles sister. As you can tell Mikaela does not like her picture taken.
James and Ellie

Jonquil met James through her sister Mikaela. James is Mikaela’s best friend since their freshman year of high school. James met Ellie, and they were married in 2020. When Jonquil moved back to Northwest Indiana, Ellie quickly became a very close friend. James has fallen into the roll of a little brother for Jonquil. When Jonquil met Mike, James and Ellie quickly gave their stamp of approval, and accepted him as a friend. In January of 2026 they welcomed their beautiful daughter named Rosemary! They also have 4 fur babies; a feisty black cat- Baxter, a sweet long haired cat- Mazie, an energetic husky- Indigo, and a loudmouth weenier dog- Ruby. Harlowe, Ruby, and Indigo are best friends and love to run with each other.
Ryan and Sarah

Jonquil grew up with both Sarah and Ryan. The girls been friends since the 4th grade. Jonquil knew of Ryan but really didn’t become friends until ROTC in High School. 20 year later our friendship is still going strong! Sarah and Ryan have been married since 2018. Sarah and Ryan have an energetic golden retriever - Ghost.
Dallas and Nina

Mike grew up with Dallas, they even went to preschool together. Also growing up Mike’s parents went to school with Dallas’s parents. Dallas is the oldest friend Mike has, since they were about 3-4 years old, so 30 years of friendship this year! Dallas and Mike met Nina their freshman year of highschool. She began hanging out with them and then started dating Dallas. Dallas and Nina were married in 2014. They have 2 wonderful kids - Lila and Logan, and a protective pup Eve. Mike has held distinguished title of Uncle Mike from day one of their lives.
Ryan and Johnathan

Ryan just so happens to be Nina’s younger brother! Mike met Ryan during his freshman year of highschool, when Dallas plus their friend Luke all went over to Nina’s house to hang out with Nina and Nina’s best friend Sarah after school. Ryan and Mike shared very similar interests, primarily Star Wars, Power Rangers, and Lord of the Rings. Years down the road, Ryan met Jonathan! Jonathan is one of the sweetest people Mike and Jonquil know. He’s literally an angel on earth and a pediatric nurse! Ryan and Jonathan were engaged in 2018. They have a lovely ENERGETIC little french bulldog named Franklin.
Matt and Jo

Matt (Wookie) & Joelynn (Jo)- Wookie is Evan’s best friend and fraternity brother from when they went to Purdue. They both officiated each other’s weddings. Wookie met Joelynn in 2019, and they were married in April of 2023. June of 2025 they welcomed their son Oliver into the world. Mike and Evan are uncles to him as well.
Laura
Bridesmaid
Jonquil and Laura grew up around the corner from each other. Throughout high school they remained good friends. When Laura moved to Oregon to follow her passion in art, she fell in love with the area and resides there currently. Even though they are 2000+ miles away, they remain friends like Laura’s still just around the corner!
Joey
Groomsman
Joey was just a coworker of Mike’s to begin with. The summer of 2014/2015, Mike and Joey made plans to meet up at the Vans Warped Tour! They watched Yellowcard and The Story So Far Together. From there Mike proceeded to throw up at the Ernie Ball tent because of the heat (his first warped tour) and went home. Eventually, Mike was looking to move into a new apartment, coincidentally Joey was as well. So they got one together and became roommates, the rest was history. Joey was the best roommate and is one of the best friends that Mike could have ever asked for. The Turk to his JD (if you like scrubs).
