We kindly ask that you RSVP by July 15th so that we have ample time to prepare for the correct amount of people attending. Please reach out to Jono or Kirra if you need an exception to be made as we are pretty flexible and want to make sure everyone we want to be there is able to make it!
The event formally begins at 4:30pm, in which you can expect to be arriving to what is traditionally known as the cocktail hour. Jono and Kirra will be making their grand entrance around 5:00pm so we suggest you be in attendance before them!
Yes! But we recommend using ride share apps such as Uber or Lyft , which provide affordable transportation locally, especially if you plan on drinking. But, parking is free public street parking so park at your own risk. There are no time limit restrictions or parking passes required. There are also a handful of handicap parking spots both on the public streets as well as USSB private property, so everyone should be able to park without issue.
As this is more of a reception only, our preferred attire is Cocktail, which means dresses for women and suits or slacks and a button up for men. Ties are optional and dancing shoes are recommended for all!
Yes! Please come ready to enjoy! We will have plenty of food, drink and dessert!
Plus ones will be made clear on the invitation as well as on the RSVP. Also, our hope is that parents can take the night off and enjoy themselves, so we will not be allowing guests' children to attend. This means only the children of our family who are participating in the event will be in attendance.
A private ceremony will be held with Jono and Kirra's family ahead of time. Guests will be attending the Reception Only.
We have provided a few hotel options on the Travel page based on proximity to USSB. Please feel free to do your own search for other accommodations such as Airbnb. There are also plenty of options available in Santa Barbara and the surrounding cities.
