First Friday Downtown Arts Walk
There will be a First Friday celebration in downtown Winston on Trade Street on November 1st, 2019. Shops and galleries are open late and the street is closed to traffic for strolling. There are plenty of great bars and restaurants on Trade and the surrounding area as well. Grab a drink from the rooftop bar- Bar Piña- and marvel at Winston's phallic skyline.

Quarry Park
Quarry Park offers a peaceful refuge in the heart of Winston-Salem. The park's focal point is the overlook pier that extends over the eastern side of the quarry, offering views of the deep blue waters of the old quarry that gives the park its name, and of the city skyline in the distance.
