Benvenuto ad Amalfi! Welcome to Amalfi! Directions; Walk down to the promenade Face the sea and turn right Walk along the road, past the marina until you reach the giant pier wall Beach bar is on the other side of the pier wall. Come and join us for some welcome drinks and pizza the evening before the big day. There is a small private beach so feel free to bring along swim wear if you want a dip in the Tyrrhenian Sea (Mike Mutch is renowned for his speedo wear and has accumulated a large supply over the years for anyone that needs to borrow some...)
3:30 pm
We ask all guests to be seated by 1530 for the ceremony to start at 1600. Transport will be arranged to take guests after the ceremony from 1700-1715 up the hill to the venue (approx 10 minute journey). Remember for the ladies/regazza to please ensure that they cover their shoulders in the Cathedral. (For those history geeks, Saint Andrew the patron Saint of Scotland/Jesus' disciple's bones are buried beneath the Cathedral)
6:30 pm
Guests will arrive by bus from the Cathedral for the "Aperitivo" at 1730. Please RSVP with your "Secondo Piatto" preference (fish, meat or veggie) and any dietary requirements. Italian weddings start late and finish late! Music is played until 2-3am. Shuttle buses from the venue to Amalfi town centre will leave at set times between Midnight and 3am. We will aim to co-ordinate drop off points to those that respond with their accommodation location as taxis are not easy to come by in the early hours in Amalfi Town. Salute!!!
