Welcome to the rest of our lives!

Our original date of meeting was when I was pregnant with my son. He lived and worked in my apartment complex. We became friends and hung out on weekends for years. He was married and I was married to someone else. After I had my son, I introduced my best friend Bobbi Jo to his best friend Jay. They ended up being a couple so we all continued to stay friends and in each other's lives. 6 years ago, Mike separated from his wife, and a year after that I separated from my husband. We were with our best friends a lot of the time, and continued to hang out on weekends together. One night while out on the town, Mike and Jonnie had the most amazing conversation, we talked for hours while people sung karaoke around us. We figured out we were way more alike then we thought, and wanted very similar things from life. So, Mike decided to kiss me! Well, it almost ended before it got started because we did not talk the next several weeks, until we had to be around each other again. After we were around each other a little we decided we wanted to start talking a little bit. One month after our first kiss, he asked me out on our first date. He took me to Chayo for dinner, and then we went and hung with friends. We have been dating ever since!!!!

He asked me on Fourth of July, at our house, in front of all our family and friends. With a Disney ring!!!!
