We’ve organized a room block at the Tru by Hilton Chapel Hill, but rooms must be reserved by no later than April 29th. We’ve also included a list of other hotel options you’re welcome to explore.
The dress code is cocktail & semi-formal attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear midi or tea-length dresses and polished, flowy sundresses. Bright colors and patterns are also encouraged. Gentlemen can wear lightweight suits (tie-optional) or dress pants with a button-down or blazer. Overall vibe: polished, comfortable, and spring-ready.
We will be having a Catholic wedding ceremony inside the church. We also ask our guests to be mindful and respectful of that in your choice of dress.
The ceremony will start at 2pm. Please arrive 20 minutes before the ceremony to get settled in.
We kindly ask our guests to provide their own travel from the church ceremony to the reception venue.
The church will have plenty of parking. The reception venue is a short 10 min drive, on Franklin Street. Street parking is always an option and there are 2 parking lots right across the street from the venue and there is a parking tower in the Carrboro Municipal Lot, off East Main Street two blocks away from the venue.
We will host a wedding reception to celebrate from 4pm-9pm at The Story Chapter 2, located at 454 West Franklin Street, Chapel Hill. Celebrations will kick off with a cocktail hour from 4-5pm followed by dinner and dancing.
We are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please ensure you let us know in advance.
We will be providing soft drinks, beer & wine, and we will be limiting liquor selection to the bride & groom’s curated signature cocktails throughout the reception. Drinks for the afterparty will all be cash bar and please be prepared to provide IDs at the door.
