Let's get Married

Jonnasia and Bryant first crossed paths on the popular social media platform, Instagram, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, they were both students studying at Claflin University, but had no idea that their paths would cross. However, the virtual world brought them together, and the chemistry between them was undeniable. The first time Bryant and Jonnasia spoke on the phone, they talked for hours and hours, getting to know each other better. It was as if they had known each other for years. Months after that initial phone call, Jonnasia made a life-changing decision to move to Columbia, SC. It was a big move, but she knew deep down it was the right one. This move marked the beginning of a beautiful story that continues to unfold every day.

Jonnasia has always loved beaches and the sun. With the two going on their first cruise together, Bryant saw this as the opportunity of a lifetime. While working closely with his line brother Damani Campbell, the two came up with a plan to hide the ring. The plan was to go to the Grand Turk, and return with a fiancée. Once Jonnasia and Bryant arrived to the island with their two close friends, they proceeded to make their way to their all inclusive excursion, which was a private beach. When they arrived, Bryant knew that the scene was perfect. There were sunny skies, and the water was truly a sight to be seen. Being the photographic person she is, Jonnasia immediately began to look for spots to take pictures. While she was thinking of the perfect spot to take her picture, Bryant had other plans. Damani discretely handed Bryant the ring, and it was time to hop into action. While Jonnasia was taking pictures , Bryant walked up behind her and got on one knee. Their friend Camryn told Jonnasia to turn around to get a different angle, and that’s where Jonnasia got a very pleasant surprise. Bryant was on his knee, and grinning from ear to ear. When he asked the big question, Jonnasia said yes, and the whole beach erupted in joy.
