FAQs

Question

By when should I RSVP?

Answer

Please reply *no later* than June 15, 2021. But early responses are always appreciated. "Can't make it" responses are just as important as "We'll be there."

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Zola.com! We kept it simple so you can find everything you need through this single website. Just click on the "registry" link, above, and you'll be set. Or go directly to www.zola.com/registry/joninwedding. Some items have links to other websites for your purchase. Please make sure to come back to Zola after your purchase to indicate that you have bought that gift!

Question

Can I bring an unspecified date?

Answer

Unfortunately not. We've worked very hard on our invite list and request that you please respond only for those who have been specifically included in your RSVP group on our wedding website.

Question

What should I wear (to the wedding)?

Answer

Summer Cocktail/Garden Attire: Look smart in floral prints and light-hued suits/sport coats. Have fun with colorful bowties, hats, fascinators, suspenders, and loafers sans socks, if that's your thing. This Pinterest board does a good job of showing what we mean: https://www.pinterest.com/dezifabo/summer-cocktail-attire/ Keep in mind, the average Boulder high temp in July is a dry ~90 degrees, the average low is ~60, and we're planning an outside wedding. Wear something in which you'll feel good.

Question

Indoor, Outdoor, Red Door, Blue Door?

Answer

Colorado weather can be fickle, but we're banking on a warm summer day with a nice mountain breeze blowing over the creek. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the dinner will be in a big tent. Dancing will take place inside. Should the weather turn, our venue has us covered with indoor options.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, you can specify your dietary needs during your RSVP process, and/or email us directly at joninwedding@gmail.com, and we'll do our best to accommodate them!

Question

What's the Parking Situation?

Answer

We may be New Yorkers but we know the rest of the country needs cars to get around. Wedgewood Boulder Creek has plenty of parking available. Lyfts and Ubers are also options for going to and from the venue.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! This is a kid-friendly wedding! We've done our best to include all family members in our head count, but please let us know at joninwedding@gmail.com if we've missed a little one of importance! During your RSVP process, please let us know what age your child will be as of our wedding date, August 8, 2021.

Question

How should I pack to dress like a true Coloradoan?

Answer

1) Layers, layers, and even more layers. 2) Two words: Western. Wear. 3) Comfy footwear (Heels are fine for the wedding, if that's your thang) 4) Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and water bottles are all your friends. 5) Spending a night out on the town? Coloradoans like to dress up too but, honestly, jeans are nearly always welcome. Learn more at https://www.colorado.com/articles/what-wear-colorado-basics

Question

Who should I contact with questions?

Answer

Please email joninwedding@gmail.com with any questions you have about the wedding and surrounding events!
