The Haldi is a pre-wedding cleansing ceremony for the bride and groom to-be, during which close friends and family are invited to bestow their blessings by smearing turmeric paste all over the happy couple. If you've seen Bridgerton, then you know all about it!

The party before the party, full of dancing, choreographed performances, fabulous outfits and mandatory participation. An introvert's nightmare, but in a really fun way! Wear dancing shoes. Wooden flooring oases between hard, packed sand.

Ceremony Attire
The Groom's dance procession (on a horse with live drums!) to the ceremony! Join if you are part of the Groom's family or consider yourself a good friend of the Groom. But all are welcome! (The Bride enters separately with only her uncle and cousins, so you aren't picking one side over the other!) Otherwise, head straight to Akiin Beach Club and find a seat!
10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Formal: Heavy, heritage, traditional Indian, Western (do not wear red), avoid stilettos
Join us on the beach for a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, performed in front of our closest friends and family, under the watchful eyes of all the gods of land and sea. Baraat starts at 10am on the beach at Casa Ganesh. Procession will end at Akiin Beach Club by 10:30am.

Black-Tie Optional: Glam, Luxe, Sequins, Silk, Indian, Indo-Western, Western
