Train information

If you're coming by train, the easiest route is: Plymouth → Exeter St Davids → Umberleigh Station (about 2.5 hours total). Trains run pretty often. From Umberleigh Station, it’s just a 15–20 minute taxi ride to Country Ways (our venue in High Bickington). If you need help coordinating lifts or taxis from the station, let us know — we’ve got you. ❤️

Accommodation

We would strongly suggest booking local accommodation for the night especially if you will be arriving by train. Here are some local hotels/B&B's: -Northcote Manor & Spa -The Rising Sun Inn -Stables Cottage B&B -The Mole Resort There are also PLENTY of Airbnb's or glamping options nearby. We do also have a limited number of pitches if you would prefer to camp on-site which you need to book directly through Country Ways - just pop us a message first so we can let you know if there are any spaces. Please note it is a quiet site with the site owners living on the grounds so no parties or loud music after the wedding finishes :)

Minibus

We are considering renting a minibus with pickup from Plymouth City Centre and drop off in Umberleigh on the 30th and a bus back again the following day. If this is something you are interested in, please let us know ASAP as it will only be booked if enough people require it. Cost will be approx £45pp return.
