In March of 2019, Heather and Chad were on their Tinder apps seeing what fish the sea had to offer. Heather swiped right on a bearded golfer and Chad swiped right on a glasses wearing, animal lover. The two talked for about a week and Chad asked Heather on a date for the end of that week. They agreed to go to Exit 6 in Cottleville. Heather arrived first (Chad was a gentlemen and offered to drive but understood that Heather is a careful person who doesn't get in random cars 🤣). Heather went and got herself a drink and sat down. Chad arrived soon after, got himself a drink, and joined Heather. The conversation flowed and felt comfortable from the moment they met. They laughed with some other bar patrons and had more drinks (on Chad). When the end of the night came, Heather said she needed to go pay for her drink but Chad told her he had already gone up and had it moved to his tab. Heather found a good one. She hugged him to thank him and when they pulled back their eyes met and they kissed. Felt like pure magic! And every year since has only felt more magical. ♥️
She’s such a sweet girl who gives so much love. She’s orange and furry and has a thick neck. She's Arya. Heather explained to Chad how important her dog, Arya, was to her from the beginning. When Chad found out he would be coming over to Heather’s place to meet Arya, he went out and bought her treats. When he came over that night, he forgot the treats. 😂 But he brought patience and compassion for this neurotic dog that Heather loved so much. It always takes Arya a while with new people but in no time, Arya began to love Chad and he began to love her (even though he would never say it out loud 😉). It fills Heather’s heart to have her perfectly imperfect little family together and happy! Oh and many months later, Chad found those treats in a random drawer and they were gross looking! 😆
