We met mid-October 2013, in 8th grade. I was the new girl and Chad was the shy boy who became my first friend. He was the first to approach me during my entire first day at a new school in a town I wasn't too familiar with. We attended the same U.S History class and grew closer with each passing day, as he wooed me with his boyish charm. He didn't seem to have too much of a plan as it was obvious that he liked me. During class, I would constantly catch him staring at me from across the room and once I looked back at him he would pretend as though he was examining the mundane wall instead, yet once he thought I wasn't watching he went right back to staring at me. His shyness only persisted when we were working on a poster for class and our hand's touch, poor Chad had no idea what to do, so only froze, cheeks red hot, trying to play it cool. Soon we became inseparable and on January 27th, 2014, we both couldn't hide it any longer. Through text, Chad was the first to say 'I Love You,' and although most would say that was way too soon, it was perfect for me. I loved him too.
I was born in Las Vegas but lived in California for the majority of my life. When I was around seven years old I moved into a small town between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, a town so small and dull, I believed that nothing special could come out of it until I met my future wife when I was thirteen. I've dedicated most of my early life in teaching myself the ins and outs of computers and small electronics and I've even dabbled in computer animation and game development after graduating High School. At an early age, I've always been interested in robotics and tinkering with anything I could get my hands on, and still hold on to my childlike curiosity to this day. I'd like to think that I will one day invent something that will change the world forever, like the joystick (developed by NASA and now instrumental in video gaming).
I was born in a small town between Sacremento and Lake Tahoe. Throughout my childhood, I moved quite a bit, and never stayed in one place for more than four years. Regardless, I was awarded several awards for my volunteer and humanitarian work with UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) during my teen years from the California State Senate and Legislator, as well as, a Presidential Volunteer Service Award by President Obama. I work hard towards my dream of advocating and protecting the world's most vulnerable people, while also enjoying a variety of music, exploring art, writing fiction, and laughing at satirical humor.
