Things To Do

Bida Manda Laotian Restaurant and Bar

Bida Manda Laotian Restaurant and Bar

222 South Blount Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 829-9999

One of our favorite restaurants in Raleigh (and Jordan used to work here!). Incredible laotian food and unique cocktails, it's quickly gaining national recognition as a top restaurant. You'll need a reservation for dinner but you can easily grab a drink at the bar.

Brewery Bhavana

Brewery Bhavana

218 South Blount Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 829-9998

Sister restaurant (and right next door) to Bida Manda. A modern setting with unique beers and eats, that is also a book and plant shop. Nat's dream...

Trophy Brewing Tap and Table

Trophy Brewing Tap and Table

225 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 424-7817

Nat's favorite beer in the world comes from Trophy Brewing - the Rose Gose. This place has awesome beers and a great rooftop to have a drink on.

Clyde Cooper's Barbeque

Clyde Cooper's Barbeque

327 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 832-7614

You can't come to Eastern North Carolina and NOT get your fill of BBQ. For all of our West Coast fam and friends, do yourselves a favor and make sure you get some real BBQ here before heading home!

Beasley's Chicken + Honey

237 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 322-0127

FRIED.CHICKEN.BISCUITS.

Gallo Pelón Mezcaleria

106 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 835-4729

A yummy mezcaleria in the heart of downtown.

Fox Liquor Bar

Raleigh, NC 27601
, (919) 322-0128

If you fancy a fancy cocktail in a cool downtown setting.

Durham

Durham, NC

Durham is a 30-minute drive from Raleigh and another cool city to check out. Similar to Raleigh but with an artsy vibe, Durham has tons of restaurants, historic buildings, bars and breweries (we love Full Steam!). If you're looking for an afternoon or evening outing in between wedding activities, check out the 21c Museum Hotel - a modern boutique hotel with local art and a museum, and stop by the rooftop bar for a drink at The Durham Hotel.

Asheville

Asheville

Asheville, NC

Asheville is a beautiful, hip little mountain city with amazing food, music, and beer. It is also home to a portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway, so if you have some extra time outside of the wedding festivities, definitely give it a visit!

Boone

Boone

Boone, NC

Boone is about two hours NE of Asheville, and is also home to a variety of great music, food, and drinks. It is also home to Appalachian State University, which is the Alma Mater of the Best Man!

Outer Banks

Outer Banks

NC

is a 200-mile-long (320 km) string of barrier islands and sits off the coast of North Carolina. They cover most of the North Carolina coastline. There are a number of amazing beach towns that all contain their own unique tourist destinations such as Kitty Hawk and Cape Hatteras. The weather in late May and early June is typically perfect for hanging out on the beach, and enjoying the nightlife.

Wilmington

Wilmington

Wilmington, NC

Wilmington is another amazing place if you're into the beach life. It's also much closer at only about 100 miles SE of Raleigh. Wilmington is more of a mid-size city, so there is tons to do downtown, and in the surrounding area. Our favorite spots in the area are Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, and the bars and restaurants downtown.
