FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dressy-Casual is the vibe. The bride will likely be wearing Birkenstocks, so no need for fancy footwear though. We'll be in and out of the sand! Also, as the sun goes down it may get chilly so you may want to bring a light jacket :)

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

You will literally type "Natural Bridges State Beach" into your GPS. Go through the toll booth. Drive straight and follow the road to the back parking lot near the visitors center. You'll start to see signage at that point :)

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your invitation was addressed to include your spouse or partner, no - we'll let you know if that changes!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love our lil besties, but due to space and food restrictions, this is an adults-only affair. You'll notice 4 young exceptions at the wedding. Please be understanding.

Question

Will the events be inside or outside?

Answer

Every. single. thing. is outside. Aside from the after party, which will be at various places in Santa Cruz.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Apparently, August is quintessential awesome California weather- so expect that :)

Question

What type of food can I expect?

Answer

We hired a taco caterer for our reception... because who doesn't love tacos?

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

California State Beaches have really strict rules around alcohol at their beaches and our alcohol permit was denied for our wedding, so this will be a dry wedding. However, we are planning a club crawl for dance and drink afterwards around Santa Cruz.
