Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Liv

Person of Honor

Liv and Gabrielle met on May 7th, 2002 at CMC Main hospital. Gabrielle was quite scared of Liv at first, but grew to love them more than anything else in the whole world. They grew side by side for the next 23 years - through many fashion shows, bagels with pink, sleepovers in Gabrielle's room, furry friends, marching band competitions, college send-offs, overseas internships, too much adulting, and everything in between. There's nothing like a bond between siblings, no matter how much arguing over who's shirt is who's (most of the time, it was dad's). Gabrielle couldn't imagine having grown up without Liv by her side. They've known and loved each other through every season of life so far and Gabrielle feels so grateful to have Liv standing behind her on her wedding day. P.S. Olivebranch is a buttface :)

Matrisha

Bridesmaid

Gabrielle and Matrisha met at Queens and had a few classes together over the years. Their friendship grew much stronger when they happened to land the same music therapy internship. Gabrielle and Matrisha worked harder than they ever had in their lives for 6 months, but they did it together. Gabrielle remembers lots of stressful moments throughout her internship, but she also remembers the comfort of having Matrisha by her side. They've been besties ever since, despite living in different cities and no longer working together. They catch up through voice memos, book clubs, Panthers games (and losses), candlelit Beyonce tribute concerts, and lavender cocktails. Gabrielle's wedding day wouldn't be complete without Matrisha's love and support.

Camryn

Bridesmaid

Camryn and Gabrielle met freshman year at Queens and were basically inseparable all the way through college. They bonded over their shared love of marching band, veganism, and of course, music therapy. Gabrielle and Camryn honored each other in their senior recitals at Queens, playing and singing about their bound to be life-long friendship. Now, though living on opposite sides of the country, Gabrielle and Camryn are still figuratively inseparable. Camryn not only gives the best advice, but always knows and honors when just a listening ear is preferred. Gabrielle admires Camryn's drive, wanderlust, bravery, and genuine love for others and couldn't imagine a Cotton Eyed Joe dance party without her.

Emily

Bridesmaid

Emily, the wife of Joshua's best friend, is Gabrielle's only extroverted bestie. There's a running joke that Emily makes friends everywhere she goes, and it's abundantly true (even in the women's bathroom!) Gabrielle loves Emily's unapologetic inclination to "tell it like it is" and to always be a girl's girl who will go to bat for the people she loves. Emily welcomed Gabrielle into Joshua's world from the start, with love and loyalty that resembled life-long friendship. Not only is Emily someone you want in your corner, she's someone who will always be in your corner, and Gabrielle is eternally grateful to have Emily in hers.

Corey

Bridesmaid

Gabrielle's first memory of Corey just so happens to be a recorded video of Corey offering some killer dance moves at freshman orientation for Queens. Gabrielle and Corey continued to dance their way through the music therapy program at Queens, and eventually into a shared apartment during their first big girl jobs (with a furry roommate rocking a record-breaking underbite). Corey also personally approved of Joshua's Hinge profile on their shared TV, as Gabrielle scrolled through a variety of questionable bachelors. Corey and Gabrielle have been across the world together over the years and not one moment has proved to be boring. Corey is always up for a scream-sing session in the car (and maybe a flat tire or two), YouTube yoga attempts, and iced coffee dates. Gabrielle was honored to stand by Corey on her wedding day and is so glad Corey was willing to return the favor.

Molli

Bridesmaid

Gabrielle and Molli's story almost feels like fate. Flashback to Girl Scout years, Gabrielle was a member of troop 2449, which just so happened to be run by Molli's aunt. However, despite growing up with Molli's cousins, Gabrielle didn't meet Molli until they happened to be studying the same major at Queens. Even then, Gabrielle and Molli were only acquaintances going through the same program. Molli joined the PMT team a few years later, working side by side with Gabrielle once again. Only then, did they discover their childhood history. They grew closer as colleagues and eventually became very close friends. Gabrielle is forever thankful for Molli's unwavering support, love, kindness, taste in girly pop music, and wonderful sense of humor and feels so lucky to share the day with her.

Reina

Bridesmaid

Reina, Joshua's only older sibling, is the big sister Gabrielle never had. Reina and Gabrielle share a love of books and animals, and just so happen to both have annoying younger siblings. As the oldest daughter, there's an undeniable patience, grace, and independence in Reina that Gabrielle admires. Gabrielle is forever thankful for Reina's kindness and acceptance into the Kornmayer family and couldn't imagine getting married without her future sister by her side.

Samuel Kornmayer

Best Man

Samuel is Joshua's second oldest brother, and has been a huge part of his life. It felt like they, along with their youngest brother John Lucas, did everything together as kids. Whether it was playing carpet hockey, endless hours of Call Of Duty Zombies, or frustratingly watching the Padres together, it's always been just two best friends hanging out. Even as they both have grown up and started their individual adult lives, every text, call, visit always feels like they are still kids just having fun. It has been amazing watching Samuel grow and become his own person, and Joshua can't wait to see where he goes. Knowing that no matter what they'll always be just two kids goofing off together.

John Lucas Kornmayer

Best Man

John Lucas is Joshua's youngest brother and like Samuel, has been by Joshua's side since the beginning. Some of Joshua's favorite memories with John Lucas include watching, playing, and becoming obsessed with WWE Wrestling, sharing a love of Star Wars, and knocking out permanent front teeth (not Joshua's fault). John Lucas has always moved to the beat of his own drum, which is one of the things Joshua admires and loves the most about him. Watching John Lucas grow up and become the confident, independent person he is has been an honor. The relationship they have as adults is something that Joshua is grateful for every single day. From brothers to best friends, Joshua is so lucky to have him by his side on his wedding day, and every day after.

Brandon Price

Best Man

Though Joshua and Brandon met in high school, their friendship didn't take off until college. Every visit back home to good ole Polk County resulted in getting lunch together at the local Mexican Restaurant, and something about those nachos solidified their friendship. Joshua and Brandon have had no shortage of fun moments, whether it was their failed podcast, playing tennis, or waking up at 4am to workout in Brandon's garage. To be able to just see each other at a moment's notice is something Joshua does not take for granted, and it's rare to have found a friend that you get to talk to every day. Joshua stood by his best friend's side as he fell in love and got married, and now Brandon has returned the favor.

Elijah Anderson

Groomsman

An Eggers dorm original from Joshua's time at App State, Elijah has been a huge part of his life ever since they met freshman year. From college roommates to post college roommates, there have been no shortage of fun or crazy moments together. Getting to live with Elijah after college and during one of Joshua's toughest times in life was an absolute blessing. Joshua's go to guy for talking movies, sports, video games, or anything nerdy. It's impossible to spend any time with Elijah and not have fun. Joshua feels so lucky that App State randomly assigned Elijah and Joshua to the same freshman dorm!

Collin Turner

Groomsman

Another Eggers dorm original from Joshua's time at App State, Collin may be the chillest, calmest person Joshua knows. He has this amazing ability to make every person he meets feel loved, heard, and appreciated. Collin was the one that included Joshua in everything in college, showed him the amazing world of bourbon, and supported him in every single way. Every time they hang out it feels like they've been friends forever. Joshua had the honor of being a groomsman in Collin's wedding, and now he gets to have Collin be a part of his. Two guys who have been mistaken by others as being real brothers, truly are brothers in every way.

Howard Collings

Groomsman

Howie was Joshua's main radio man at App State. It felt like every time either of them were in the station, the other was right there with them goofing off and having an ball. From the countless morning and sports talk shows, classes, and station hangouts, there was never a dull moment together and there still never is. Maybe the highlight of Joshua's acting career was getting to act alongside Howie in the critically acclaimed college show "This is AppTV". Howie may be one of the coolest human beings alive, but he is also one of the best people Joshua has ever known. He has always been an amazing and supportive friend, and Joshua is incredibly lucky to get to call The HOWIE C one of his groomsmen.

Brandon Tew

Groomsman

Joshua met Brandon through the radio station at App, and their friendship was immediate. BTew is one of the funniest guys you'll ever meet, and has more sports knowledge than imaginable. There were few days in college where the two of them didn't see each other and those radio station green room hangouts is something Joshua cherishes and misses most about his time at App. Joshua can't even count how many shows and games they called together, but every single one was always a blast with BTew on the call. No matter how long it's been, every time they get together it's like they haven't missed a moment. Joshua is honored to have Brandon as one of his groomsman, but he is also super grateful to be able to be a part of Brandon's wedding in the very near future. If there was an All Windex Team for best friends, Btew would be first all-pro.
