Things To Do

Here are some fun things to do in the City of Pittsburgh if you have some time during the wedding weekend.
Shadyside

Shadyside

Pittsburgh, PA

With business centers on three different streets—Walnut, Highland and Ellsworth—there is plenty to check out. Luckily Shadyside is a very walkable neighborhood, and you can easily hop from one to another on foot. However, parking can be tricky, but it is doable.

Strip District

Strip District

Pittsburgh, PA

It is home to a large assortment of international grocery stores and retailers, boutique shops, independent merchants, and several of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. It is busier on a Saturday morning as opposed to Sunday, but it is really worth it. There is a lot of city parking, but depending on the congestion parking can be harder.

Lawrenceville

Lawrenceville

Pittsburgh, PA 15201

Lawrenceville is now one of the most popular neighborhoods in all of Pittsburgh for visitors with all interests. Lawrenceville has grown to be a shopping, eating, and drinking hot spot.

Carnegie Science Center

Carnegie Science Center

1 Allegheny Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
, (412) 237-3400

Fun activity for kids

Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

7370 Baker Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
, (412) 665-3640

Another fun activity for kids, but all ages as well. Free parking, and it is plentiful. There is an admission fee.

Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History

Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History

4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213
, (412) 622-3131

Both art and natural history museums are connected, but it is possible to view them separately or together. There is dedicated parking.

The Andy Warhol Museum

The Andy Warhol Museum

117 Sandusky Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
, (412) 237-8300

The famous Andy Warhol hails from Pittsburgh and we have a really cool museum to prove it! There is a dedicated parking lot right across the street from this museum, but also street parking as well. Sections not kid friendly.
