It all started in October 2019 with a Bumble match-we know, very modern of us. A few messages turned into conversations, and a few conversations turned into something we both didn’t expect to feel so natural, so fast. By November, we were meeting in person… after Michaela boldly went to pick Daniel up from the airport after a work trip. Yes, we know, picking up a stranger from the airport is wild, but somehow, it just felt right. Our first date followed shortly after at BJ’s (classic), and from there, we never stopped talking. We made things exclusive by December 2019, but Daniel being Daniel took his time to make it official. Michaela (incredibly patient and saint-like) finally got the “Will you be my girlfriend?” in March 2021. He likes to move at his own pace and she secretly wouldn’t have it any other way. Since then, we’ve spent years building something real: learning, growing, laughing, and leaning into our faith. We met young-21 and 23-and somehow managed to keep falling in love with each new version of each other as we grew together. In March 2025, Daniel proposed, making the most special month of the year even more meaningful. March is now our dating anniversary, our engagement month, both our birthdays, and soon our wedding month. We’ll be saying “I do” on 03.26.26, surrounded by the people who’ve been part of our journey. Thank you for being here to celebrate with us.
