Things To Do

We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.
Huntington Beach State Park Beach Access & Picnic Area

Huntington Beach State Park Beach Access & Picnic Area

Jetty Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

The beach and wetlands are inhabited by sea turtles, alligators and rich birdlife. Sam brought Joe here for a picnic during Joe's first beach trip to South Carolina.

The Pier at Garden City

The Pier at Garden City

110 South Waccamaw Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

Walking distance to the Condo Sam has vacationed at her entire life. It's not a trip to South Carolina without taking at least one walk a day to the Pier. At the pier you can find arcades, ice cream, a cafe, and a bar. Weekend nights you can enjoy live music and karaoke.

Mt. Atlanticus Miniature Golf

Mt. Atlanticus Miniature Golf

707 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
, (843) 444-1008

Sam's families favorite place to play put-put. Joe might have beat Sam at her own game but Sam scored more holes-in-ones. If you make the final hole, you can play free for life! Good luck!

Wachesaw East Golf Club

Wachesaw East Golf Club

911 Riverwood Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576
, 843-357-1500

Ask Joe about booking a Tee time as they need to be made in advance. Nestled amid a former rice plantation in Murrells Inlet, Wachesaw Plantation East has reaped the awards you’d anticipate from a former LPGA event site. Once the home of the Kathy Ireland/Greens Competition Classic, Wachesaw East was named the 2007 Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year by the Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owners Association. It has also recently received honors for its fairways, customer service and playability by national publications. In short, Wachesaw East is the complete package. Utilizing five sets of distinct tees, the Clyde Johnston design plays anywhere from 6,933 yards down to 4,995. Regardless, the thought-provoking track was crafted to reward the patient, an approach that stick with players after wrapping up on the signature hole. The green of the par-4, 430-yard No. 18 bends slightly around a small pond, leaving most to consider it one of the course’s most challenging holes.
