Her Side: I first met Derek in the lobby at work. I remember he used to come to my building at least once or twice a week...walking through the lobby, cheesing all hard, cracking little jokes. I thought he was a cutie pie and I could tell he was interested. I wasn't sure how I felt dating someone from the job. He remained persistent and it paid off. I believe it started with him asking for my work alias, so he could send me messages, then it evolved into texting, and eventually (after 1mth) he asked me to "hang out for drinks and pool" across the street from my job. I hadn't played pool a day in my adult life lol but he was new to Dallas, and didn't know too many date spots. The only thing I remember from that night, is laughing so hard and not wanting it to end. We've been together every day since that night. His Side: I used to go get supplies from another building for work and it must have been fate that one day I was forced to go into the front because the back gate was not working. From that day on I intentionally went into the front on my weekly visits for one particular reason...to see Sasha. Let her tell it we "evolved" into texting, however I believe I got her number through some small talk in the lobby and she gave me her number when I texted a funny video to her. Little did she know that was my golden ticket to the chocolate factory. Thank God for that lobby because we have been together ever since!
