Matron of Honor
My sister and best friend. There is something so special about a person who was made just for you to grow up with; the bond between me and my sister is unlike anything else. As a kid, she was my shadow, as a teen she was my twin, and as an adult, she is my soul mate. Rachel, you are so solid, selfless, and loving. I truthfully don't think you get the credit you deserve; on a daily basis you inspire me. You keep me sane, and organized and help me make all of my adult decisions π Sometimes I wonder if somewhere along the lines we switched places and you became the big sister. For real, you are my A-1 since Day-1 (no other sibling can say they've known you your whole life π) and I absolutely could not do this wedding ~ or life ~ without you by my side. Love you so much Rachel!
Bridesmaid
This girl. This girl has been one of, if not my best, and longest friendships I have to date. I have known her for 16 years and we met at our first job at Party City. We've seen each other through life's big highs and lows and have been there for each other through it all. I have so many great memories with Casey, but the biggest thing I take away from our friendship is how she's always there for me when I need her and how maintaining a lasting friendship with each other has been just as important to her as it has been for me. I love you Casey!
Bridesmaid
My soon-to-be sister!! I met her through Brennan (of course) and I have loved her and her girls since the day I met them. Amber is so resilient and her sense of humor is top-notch. I am so grateful to have her stand up with me as I marry her brother and I am so blessed to gain another sister. Love you Amber!
Officiant
My (oldest) baby brother is marrying us ya'll!! He is hands down THE BEST person to officiate our wedding. Anyone who meets AJ is drawn to his charisma. He has a knack for making everyone around him feel genuinely important. He is an amazing conversationalist and is very thoughtful and eloquent with his words. AJ, I am so lucky to have such a good relationship with you the way I do. Thank you for being there for us and believing in my and Brennan's love as much as you do. Love you Jay!!!
Ring Security
My little nephew Nathan (aka "Chippy" to me and only me lol) is probably one of my favorite people on earth (and he has a lot of competition π). I can honestly say he is one of my most special relationships. I feel like we've known each other way longer than the roughly 5 years he's been on this planet; I'm convinced we go back lifetimes. I had a premonition (dream) that he made it earthside, and sure enough my sister later told me she was pregnant. There's something inexplainable about our connection. He's also the most fun - When he enters a room you will know it! He has a fiery, opinionated, and downright hilarious personality. He takes his "ring π security" role very seriously and since accepting this position, he has appointed himself head of all wedding operations. I regularly receive videos from my sister with Nathan explaining all of his thoughts/ideas on this wedding π I am so absolutely excited to see him in action.
Flower Girl
My dear Ry, this is our girl!! She is Brennan's first niece and I have known her since she was 3 turning 4 (π she's growing up so fast). It has always been a dream of mine to have her in our wedding as a πΈ flower girl. She is one of the most sweet, kind and beautiful-hearted people you will meet. And bonus, she is always down to hang with her funcle Nah Nah and Aunt Amanda so she's got great taste π love you Rylee!!
Flower Girl
Ohhh darling Kins! Where to start? Well for one, She's a sour patch kid (but if you are lucky like us π you only get the sweet side) She'll keep you on your toes: if "never let them know your next move" was a person. She's goofy like her uncle, strong-willed like her mama, and hands-down the best story-teller! We are proud to call her our niece and are so looking forward to her gracing us with her presence on the big day π€
Best Man
My brother. At every age of life, I have loved every stage of our relationship. From when you were a small fellow calling me Bubba and tailing not too far behind me to ring the doorbell at my friend's house and hang out with us #DoorbellDane #BabyGolddust to our bond now as adults over our beloved Washington Football Team Commanders. I know I can always count on you and I am so proud to see the person you've grown into.
Groomsman
So I first met Ryan in 7th grade when were put into a group project together. Over the years we have remained best friends. Our humor is so similar and our love of horror movies is top-tier. The amount of inside jokes are endless. Still to this day one of my all-time favorite bands is Kill The Silent. We used to go to the mall all the time anticipating that we were going to talk to girls but in reality, we just ended up giggling with one another. We had so much fun driving our parents crazy, especially mama T. The rest is history.
Groomsman
My Food Lion Sensei. He was one of the few people who made my job tolerable. Every night we walked up and down the aisles conditioning, cracking jokes and sharing stories as we went along. One of my all-time favorite stories that I still think and laugh about 'til this day was when I had put an item on Mac's cart that wasn't for his aisle (as a prank). He immediately thought it was Chris and came flying around the corner and before I could say anything he gave Chris a two-piece saying, "Ya crazy, you know this doesn't go on my aisle!!" One of the most entertaining and full-of-life people I have ever known.
Groomsman
My other partner in crime at good ol' Food Lion. He made the job way more fun than it ever would have been otherwise. Half working, half laughing at random videos, half talking about video games and movies. It was a blasty-blast playing in the softball league that one year together too. Looking forward to having him be a part of this big moment with me. P.S. Sorry for the two-piece that you received from Mac because of me.
Groomsman
One of the few people that I have known longer than Ryan. We met in fifth grade. Our immediate love of South Park, skateboarding, and wrestling drew us together. It was always fun coming over to your house and opening the window in your bedroom while throwing crackers outside to your neighbor's dog, who we also named "crackers". One of my favorite stories was the year we went trick-or-treating in my neighborhood, you wore a Santa Claus hat and a Jason mask and an innocent child didn't see the mask, and thought you were Old Saint Nick until you turned around, in which the kid screamed, "THAT'S NOT SANTA!". He's probably still in therapy til this day.
Bridal Escort
Eric is my (Amanda's) bonus Dad. I have known him since I was 13. He's been an integral part of my life and an example of the type of patience, loyalty, and faithfulness that I should strive to find in a partner. His dedication to my mom and our family is why I never settled in relationships. Eric, you have left such a huge impression on my life. Thank you for walking me down the aisle, and as always, stepping up for me when you didn't have to.
Mother of the Bride
My momma bear. If you ask me for a memory that I have of you, the first thing that comes to mind is watching you put on makeup; I could watch you forever, thinking to myself how lucky I am to have such a beautiful and stylish mom. How fascinated I was with every swipe of mascara and brush of blush. You were so cool to me. As I embark on a new journey as a wife, and hopefully, one with a road paved to motherhood, I want you to know that I am who I am because of you; I have learned strength, generosity, and kindness by watching you. I also learned independence and individuality because you gave me the freedom to be completely and authentically myself. Thank you for always being there for me when I need you, that is the most precious gift you could have ever given me.
Mother of the Groom
π Hellah Hellah Hellah. OOoOoOOooOoo. Thank you for taking me to a cemetery to learn how to drive for the first time. I still wonder why that is the prime location you chose to teach me how to operate a vehicle. As I have gotten older our bond has gotten stronger and I cherish our quality time together; most of all watching shows and giving our own commentary while laughing. Your humor, generosity, and your love of animals are some of the traits that I admire most. #RodneyYeeHee!Yoohoo!Rodneypssst
Honor Guest
My (not-so) baby brother who made me a big sister again at 16. I feel like you were the one who introduced me to what motherhood is all about. Hanging with you and watching you become a whole person was absolutely so much fun. As a baby, you were the cutest and I seriously adored you (just ask mom). As you continued to grow older you had this unique taste and sweet personality. You have always been a free-thinker which I really admire about you. You have the biggest heart and not sure if you know this, but I identify with you a lot, I kind of feel like our lives have been parallel in so many ways. I also love your relationship with Brennan, it warms my heart. I have so much love for you BB π«Άπ» Thank you for being a part of our day.
Honor Guest
As I sit here and write these messages I realize how many funny people I am blessed to have in my life and Chaseyyyy is up high on that list. His humor is exceptional - sometimes if you aren't paying attention you'll miss the gold he bestows upon you. He is sooooo smart. I know that he's going to go far in life on his wit alone. Ong, No cap, he is the GOAT, is that still a thing? Did I make you cringe? ποΈπποΈ Chase, I am sure you'll tell me.. if it's one thing I am sure of, it's that.. hahaha. Thanks for celebrating our day with us, it would not be a party without you. Love you my babiest bro π€ P.S. let's get an updated picture at the wedding pls, preferably one with our eyes open lol
Day-Of Coordinator
There is seriously no one better than Nana! She is a visionary, so organized and Type-A (like Amanda) so she's the most perfect person to help pull this day off without a hitch... well maybe just one hitch, am I right? π₯ ba dum tss π₯ - Nana, we cannot thank you enough for all of your help, we are eternally grateful to you and for you. xoxo
Honor Guest here with us in Spirit
I miss you and think about you every single day. Even though you won't be here physically, I know you will be here in Spirit just as you have been this whole time. I have witnessed first-hand that you are still around by the signs you leave for me. I'll be honest, it's going to be extremely hard not having you there and hearing your words of wisdom. But I hope somehow you know the main reason we chose the wedding venue that we did is because of your love for Charlottesville and the mountains. We will pass by the same ones we used to drive through. There will definitely be some Journey in the playlist for you. Love you Dad.
