When should we be there?

Answer

Ceremony will start at 3:30pm, please ensure you show up at least 15 minutes prior to be seated appropriately by venue staff.

Semi-Formal, Formal, Business Casual.

Will you have any vendors on site?

Answer

Outside of our lovely venue staff members, we will also have a DJ, Caterer, Wedding Planner, and a Professional Photographer on site.

Will you be serving food?

Answer

We will be serving buffet style for both cocktail hour, and dinner service.. and cake!

Alcohol?

Answer

We have a pay bar stocked with all of our favorites including custom drinks, we promise it's the good stuff! Drunk shenanigans will be photographed and occasionally brought up at family reunions for years to come!

Will there be children?

Answer

Yes, we have our 5 year old Elleri and it wouldn't be fair if she didn't have her cousins and close family friends to celebrate with her too! This is a child friendly wedding! Games, coloring, general activities to distract the littles will be on standby!

Hotels in the area we suggest?

Answer

We personally suggest the AmericInn by Wyndham at 4401 S 22nd Avenue E, Newton, IA as they have been a phenomenal place for our friends and family to stay during travel periods throughout the year.

Traveling to the Venue?

Answer

We are extremely grateful to have a venue like Alta House who has an in house shuttle service that is able to pick up our guests at local hotels in Newton and shuttle them directly to the venue and back afterwards.

Additional Housing Options?

Answer

Our Venue has Cabins to rent for our guests, as well as a RV and Camper lots on site for camping next to the venue property. Suitable for those traveling from afar who would like an alternative to a hotel stay(gives you an excuse to get your camper/rv out of storage early). They do have a pond for fishing, a seasonal pool, among many other additional amenities provided.
