An 18 year old boy living in Alaska hopped on a plane to the land of the never ending corn fields. He began his freshman year at Presentation College, in Aberdeen, SD, where he played a lot of football, and attended only a few of his classes. Meanwhile, in the presentation college nursing program was a small town girl busy in her junior year of classes. One Saturday night in December of 2012, the two stumbled into each other at a good old fashion college gathering. The two exchanged phone numbers and started the first day of the most wonderful (& chaotic) adventure! 8 years spent together. 7 years of being a nurse. 6 years of learning plumbing. 5 u-hauls rented (for 9 total moves 🤪). 4 states we’ve called home. 3 beautiful children. 2 pregnancies.
