We would love for our guests to dress in formal attire, but black tie is optional. For men, this means a suit and tie. For women, a long gown, cocktail dress, or dressy separates would be perfect. We can't wait to celebrate with you in style!
We ask that our guests plan to arrive at 5:00pm. In order to get to the ceremony space, guests will need to walk through multiple gallery spaces. We want to make sure you have enough time to take in the galleries while still making it to the 5:30pm ceremony.
Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on this invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation in order to RSVP.
We have decided to keep our wedding adults only. For those of you with children, we encourage you to use this as a date night and get out and have some fun!
We have hired an amazing photographer, who will be there to capture all the moments of the ceremony! We do kindly ask that phones be put away during the ceremony. Feel free to take lots of photos and videos during the reception.
We are currently registered at Crate & Barrel and Zola. If your preference is to give cash instead of one of the items on the registry, we have set up a honeymoon fund through Zola.
We encourage all of our guests to make safe and smart decisions regarding their transportation. For those of you who wish to drive to the venue, the Dayton Art Institute has a free parking lot next to the entrance to the building.
Yes! Our guests will have access to most of the museum during the cocktail hour and reception, however food and beverages are restricted to the museum’s Lower Court, Great Hall, Hale Cloister, Shaw Gothic Cloister and Entrance Rotunda.
Unfortunately, our dog Lando will not be attending. For those of you who wish to schedule a meet-and-greet with Lando, you may do so by reaching out directly to his media team.
