Critter Lane Petting Zoo
We pass by this all the time and it looks so cute. Only 6 miles from the reception and they are open on Sundays from 10-6.
Bonne Terre Mine "The Mine at Bonne Terre"
Approx 16 miles from the reception and there are open on Sundays from 9-5
Pickle Springs Natural Area
If you love to hike I recommend checking out one of the many parks around the area. This one is 26 miles from the reception.
Ste. Genevieve
There are plenty of things to see and do in Ste. Gen especially if you're a wine drinker.
Caledonia
James and I had one of our first dates in Caledonia and it holds a lot of memories for us. The village is close to Elephant Rocks, Johnson Shut-Ins and Taum Sauk. We usually go to one of the parks and then day drink in the village at one of the B&Bs. If you're in town make sure to check out the antique shops and the old mercantile building.
