Answer
Men should wear pants and a collared shirt. Women semi-casual ( code for anything you want).

Do I need to exchange US currency to the JA dollar?
Answer
Only if you plan on using local taxi’s. All tipping can happen with US dollars. Excursions and such can go on credit cards or with US dollars. If you do decide to exchange money please do so at the airport money exchange kiosks.

What food will be served at the wedding?
Answer
Because of supply restraints we were asked to pick one entree for the wedding ( I know, weird), We chose salmon. However, if you have any aversion or allergy to salmon please let us know and we will gladly ensure you get an alternative ( vegetables, chicken or steak). The goal is you don’t remember the food anyway, just how much you danced :)

Is Marijuana legal in Jamaica?
Answer
No. It is a petty offense depending on the amount. But, please do not get locked up abroad! Most lawyers don’t have WhatsApp, US jails are spas compared to Jamaican ones and no one from the wedding party will be able to bail you out. Smoke at your own risk.

Do I need a Negative Covid test to go back to the US?
Answer
YES! You need a negative Covid antigen test within 24 hours of travel back to the US. If you are staying more than 3 nights at the Iberostar your antigen test is free! If you are staying fewer than 3 nights your test will cost $40 ( payable to the hotel). When you check in, go directly to the hotel concierge to have them book your testing appointment on the day prior to your departure.
