We're getting married 10.25.2025

We had our first encounter at a local restaurant where I worked as a server. He was in a band and came up to the restaurant that day to try and set up a gig to play there the following month. He was sat at my tables that afternoon and we'd struck up a conversation after realizing we had gone to the same high school together. We talked about how life had been after graduation, he ordered his food and then spoke with the manager. After him and his friends had finished with their meal I brought the check and finished up with some other tables. When I went back to say goodbye I noticed that he had already left and what I soon found out was that on that receipt he had left his number and a 75 cent tip. That's when I knew he was the one for me(haha)!! Well not really, however I was curious about him and thought the tip was funny so I entertained the idea of at least hanging out in the same group setting. We started hanging out over the next couple of weeks as friends, going out on the boat , going to parties & then one night we had went camping and started playing songs back and forth feeding off of each others music taste and then it just clicked, that we clicked. I knew in that moment that he was my person and I was his. From then on we continued to hangout, casually going out on dates and enjoying each others company. Over the years we have been through a multitude of highs and lows throughout life; whether that be between our relationship, family, friendships and everything in between. With that being said it only made our love for one another stronger. The past 8 years have been the happiest years of our lives. We have been fortunate with the opportunity to watch each other grow and blessed to be able to grow together. In those 8 years we've accomplished a lot, we are lucky to have a home together, we have a 3 year old Golden Retriever, Henley, who we adore, and we've supported each other through school and starting businesses and been there to pick up one another when times aren't always bright and easy. On Friday May 7th, 2024 while on a beautiful sunset catamaran cruise, Austin asked for my hand in marriage and I couldn't have been more surprised, happy, or ready to say YES! It was truly the perfect day and I will forever cherish this memory. I am so excited to get to marry my best friend and have all of our loved ones by our side as we say I DO!
