The day we met was one of the best nights of our lives. We met at a park and spent countless hours driving aimlessly, talking and laughing about absolutely nothing, just getting to know each other. By the time we went home, we had driven over 200 miles through our small town, and by the end of the summer, we knew every gravel road in the county. Those nights were filled with story telling, endless laughter, and the quiet realization that we were falling in love. Of course, our story hasn’t been without its rocky moments. If you've know us; we met young and fell fast, and eventually took a year apart to reflect, grow, and find ourselves. When we found our way back, everything felt effortless from the very first moment. It was easy. It was familiar. It was perfect. We moved in together earlier this year, after 5 years of commuting back and forth from Ames! Currently, we have one small dog at home that keeps us moving. We are both enjoying the time together when our schedules allow. We both currently work in Des Moines and love spending time catching up with family and friends.
