Rachel and Bryson met at Clemson University through mutual friends in the summer of 2017. They crossed paths several times but never had a chance to get to know each other, until one night at Tiger Town Tavern ("TTT's") in downtown Clemson. They talked all night and at closing time, the bar started playing David Allan Coe's "You Never Even Called Me by My Name". Much to Rachel's surprise, Bryson grabbed her hand, and they started shag dancing. After that, they exchanged phone numbers, and the rest is history!

Rachel and Bryson often take nightly walks around their neighborhood. One evening, Bryson suggested they change it up and walk around the local college nearby. This wasn't too unusual since the couple has walked around the college before. But this time towards the end of the walk, Bryson asked they take a detour through the beautiful rose garden. They were admiring the array of flowers (and admittedly Rachel was growing a little suspicious) when Bryson took Rachel's hand and got down on one knee. Both got a bit nervous so the details get fuzzy but ultimately Rachel said "YES!" and they were engaged. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
