Peyton and Grace met freshmen year of high school in their Global Perspectives class. They became part of the same friend group and that friendship grew throughout high school and into college when they both chose to attend Auburn University to study engineering. In their sophomore year of college, Peyton asked Grace on their first date to Amsterdam Cafe. Their relationship blossomed throughout the rest of college and as senior year came to a close, they worked together on senior design and navigated the job search. The Lord blessed them both with jobs in Houston, and they moved to Texas after graduation. When they aren’t working they enjoy trying new restaurants, playing with Grace’s dog, Waylo, and travelling with their friends and family. An especially memorable trip was to Port Aransas, TX in May 2024. While Peyton and Grace were eating dinner during sunset on the beach, Peyton got down on one knee, and Grace excitingly accepted his proposal! June 28th can’t come soon enough - they are excited to celebrate with each of you.

O God, who in creating the human race willed that man and wife should be one, keep, we pray, in a bond of inseparable love those who are united in the covenant of Marriage, so that, as You make their love fruitful, they may become, by Your grace, witnesses to charity itself. Amen
