Jonathon and Renée met in July 2024 while working for the same church in children's ministry. They both shared a love for ministry and the next generation. One day, they were both asked to set up a table to receive Operation Christmas Child donations. These were the first moments when they started to get to know each other. Over the next few days, Jonathon created excuses to walk into Renée's classroom and talk to her. This is when they would discover their common love for Star Trek! This would, in the future, lead to many nights watching TNG, the original series, and basically every Star Trek movie that has been made. That following weekend, Renée went to a worship night at Jonathon's house, and this was the first quality time spent together outside of work. They had their first date of many and continued to share their love for ballet, soccer, and movies. All of this led to finally getting engaged in March of 2025 at Adriatica Village in McKinney, TX. Their strong love and desire to be together led them to elope on June 13, 2025. They knew they wanted to marry each other since their first date and spend the rest of their lives together! The Crismons are so excited to celebrate with all of their family and friends in the sharing of their one year anniversary and Vow Renewal Ceremony.
