The wedding of

On a technical stand point it all started in September of 2000 at Creston Elementary. Jon and Kayla grew up in the same neighborhood, had the same bus stop for two years in elementary school. Nothing really came of that part of the story, beside crazy coincidence. The real story begins as friends that met later in high school. Kayla transferred sophomore year to Clackamas High School. Jon was a football player, and Kayla was a cheerleader. Only friends all through school, feelings started to grow but nothing was said. Later on in life Jon always tried to make a move, but Kayla was not really getting the hint. Eventually their worlds lined up and Jon reached out for the first date. From that moment on they both knew this was it. Their friendship quickly grew to love, and the love story will keep growing every year.

April 22nd, 2025 Salishan Coastal Lodge The weekend was set for Kayla’s 30th birthday. Filled with great food, great company and plenty of golf. Hot tubbing and laughs made for such a wonderful weekend. The weekend was coming to an end with one final round of golf in Jon and Kayla fashion. On hole 15, Jon tees off to shake the nerves. Watching the shot, Kayla pulled out her phone to record. Jon thought she would turn around with her phone. He got on one knee…. Only for Kayla to put her phone in her pocket and started to walk back to the golf cart. She felt a tap on the shoulder. Jon got on a knee again and asked the question. Will you marry me?
