Meeting this "Beautiful Soul" nearly 19 years ago would change the entire trajectory of my life and the journey we would embark on. Jonathon from the day I met him has always been not only a gentle soul, but embodies the greatest qualities a human being can possess even in such crazy and uncertain situations. At times I am IN awe of his unwavering and unapologetic love and devotion he has bestowed upon even to these very moments as we mark another significant milestone on our journey together. I am profoundly proud to have been given this man and a place that will forever have a part of my soul and I love him deeply beyond the scope of space and time. His ability to see the light and good in humanity has helped shape my own personal perspective on the challenges and victories we have achieved in our journey together. I am deeply honored to share this new chapter with you and the adventures that are ahead for us.

On 10/16/2004 my life changed, I met my soon-to-be Husband online, & wasn’t thinking it would change my life going forward, but it did, 2 weeks later you bought me a bus ticket, but look about 19 years later where we both are now. You’ve showed me there is “LOVE”, even you’ve said that you never thought we would see this day come, because what we’ve been thru, but here we are. You accepted me & didn’t ever ask me to change. Our love for each other is unconditionally. We have decided it’s time to take the next step. I’m nervous & excited this day has finally come, I’ve waited so long to call you my Husband, love my baby, your “BIGBOY”/“GINGER HILLBILLY” (P.S. - Not that I don’t already call you my Husband). This will be a day I won’t forget, my best-friend, baby, fiancé, but most of all you’ll be my Husband. I love you till death do-us part. You’ve always asked me why do I love you so much, you make me happy, get me thru hard times, made my life better, gave me hope that there is love that still exists, showed the world, don’t judge me, but most of all took a chance on me. I couldn’t imagined living the life I live now without you by my side. No matter what you’re doing, you always find the time for us to have our time together & that makes me so happy. A heart of gold, but will check you in a blink. Bestowing upon us the honor of being Godfathers to our princess" Maya" she has been a beacon of love and support for Jon and I for years and I am so blessed and honored that fate saw fit to place this beautiful woman in our lives. This dude is my Twin Soul. Darius we have towed the tide and have weathered many storms in our lives, but you have always been my captain to steer me back to that path of humility and finding the good in both people and world. Being your "Big Bro" is such an honor and privilege to know that fate saw fit to make us brothers and literally twin souls in how we perceive the world through our adventures and journeys over the years. As Walkers, we were not made to be broken, but persevere and strive for the best and most authentic men we could be. Between endless talks, texting, reflecting and just being anchors for each other in all we have faced with our family challenges has made us fortified. This was no brainer to make you my Best Man.
