Jonathon and Victoria spent Thanksgiving with us this past year. On this trip, the two of them got engaged and Eric and I found out we were pregnant! A pretty eventful few days for the Bevill ladies!

A few months after Joon and Vicky started dating, Vicky joined us on a family trip to Greenwood, South Carolina. It was crazy how she automatically felt like a part of the family.

Vic, Jon, and I were driving south in Cape Charles towards an after-party from Megan's (reference photo of her below) wedding. Jon was driving, Vic riding shotty and I was in the back, cradling a leftover flower arrangement. We were all laughing and in good spirits, being our famously ridiculous selves, when blue and red lights flicked on behind us. Jonathon calmly states, "I think we are getting pulled over." Victoria, in true form, retorts, "Oh really Jonathon? So YOu THINK we are GETTING PULLED OVER?!" (please note that quote is paraphrased, I can't reiterate what she said on this forum) He got the fattest speeding ticket. It was so funny.

Before Jon and Toria were dating, I visited NY with some friends during Christmas time. Vic decided it would be a wonderful idea to hop on the Staten Island Ferry for a free boat ride with fantastic views. In order to make the ferry, however, we had to sprint from Jonathon's warm, cozy apartment. When we finally got on the boat (wheezing!) it was clear that they asked us to go on the boat, not to show us their beautiful city, but in fact to have a romantic water ride, just the two of them. They started dating a month later and no one was surprised.

The two lovebirds helped me and my husband make our first apartment together a home. They were there for the first “real meal” we had in our home on that beautiful day in May 2019. We made one of Mrs. Bevill’s go-to recipes and drank wine and laughed together sitting around our “coffee table” that was just an empty plastic storage bin covered with a tablecloth. Now we have a weekly tradition of “couple hangs” where we gather at least one night a week to spend time together and share joy. It has marked a special season of life for Nick and me! As initially just Jon's friend, the first time I ever met Vic (pre-their relationship) was in late 2017 while visiting Jon + friends at their college dorm. I distinctly remember there being chemistry between the two, just by how they sat together on Jon's bunk. Afterward, I immediately told the others that they were almost certainly going to date. In response was a strong "no, they're just friends". checkmate Caleb Kent.

My favorite memory of the pair is spending Victoria's 21st birthday together in the East Village. It was me, Victoria, Julia, and Jonathon. They were not officially official yet but we had such a good time and had chips and guac until we were stuffed. I knew it was a good match.

I originally met Vic with Jon in Vic's apartment. It was me and this lil guy being guided by Henry Thomas. We can really give all the thanks to Henry. Anyways the tension was palpable but I wasn’t sure how much in the good sense. We ate like hot pockets or something and sat around chatting about life. Although I didn’t see it then, I’m happy to say I wouldn’t want it any other way. As a humble man of God, I must admit I was wrong on this one. Congrats Caleb Dudley. You guessed right and a good guess at that.

I remember sitting on the couches in the Student Union in January of 2017. I had just gotten back from the UK and all Vic could talk about were her new friends Caleb, Will, and Jonathon. But whenever she talked about J, there was something in her eyes that just lit up! Sitting on those couches and talking about this boy she liked, I knew there was something special that was starting to happen! I have loved getting to see Victoria grow into the woman she is because of Jonathon. I have never seen her happier and so much of that is because of the love Jonathan has shown her over the last 2 years!

In January 2017, before the two of them were dating the three of us took a little trip out to New Jersey. I'll never forget sitting on the Path train trying to talk to them but they were only having each other! Third-wheeling before I was a wheel! #datingnotdating

One of my favorite memories with Jonathon and Toria was meeting up in NYC for the biggest piece of toast in existence and spontaneously deciding they would both road trip back to Maryland with us in the middle of the night to surprise the Keeler fam!

I think my favorite memory is when I realized I liked Jonathon better than Victoria. J came to Florida to meet the fam for the first time, so we all took a little trip to the beach condo and it was an absolute ball!

This last Christmas break I went frisbee golfing with the happy couple. It was just nice getting to spend some quality time with them. I kind of forgot they weren’t already married. Vic already feels like a sister and the two of them were being adorable while we golfed it up!

I loved getting to spend quality time with Victoria and Jonathon this past May during Victoria’s graduation weekend. We got to stay in a super nice brownstone. It was the first time I got to really hang with Jonathon. Great times!
