Although we had met years and years ago, our relationship was never romantic... yet. What started as a casual conversation about online dating and how John was "new to the scene", turned into myself offering to coach/help him navigate the 'do's and don'ts'. John had a few prospects that he would ask my advice about, but little did I know - he never ended up going on any of these dates! Before I knew it, we were hanging out more and more and I realized WE were the ones dating. In the beginning, I was hesitant to fully commit- as I didn't want it to be weird at work for either of us. However, I couldn't stop talking and thinking about him! We could share anything and have fun doing nothing. How stupid would it be to give that up? I finally said 'let's try this' and went 100% in. Both sides of our family, and friends, have seen how beautifully we compliment each other; and we both fit in so well to one another's lives. We are so blessed and fortunate to have found such this special love that really grew out of a foundational friendship. A love that will last us a lifetime!
