Katie is the Community Engagement and Marketing Coordinator and leads the free public tours of this facility where Mote is growing endangered corals to restore Florida's Coral Reef. Free public tours are conducted on Mondays at 3pm, Wednesdays at 10am, and Fridays at 10am. Reserve your tickets online.

Another fantastic local dive shop. Dive here if you prefer smaller boats and smaller groups- 6 divers max per boat!
John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park
Visit Pennekamp, the first underseas state park in the U.S., for snorkel tours, glass bottom boat tours, dive trips, kayaking, and a couple of beaches!

C&C wood fire eats
One of our favorite restaurants in Key Largo! Great vibes, wood fired pizza, wine and beer, and delicious dessert. C&C has an awesome happy hour (a pizza & a pitcher for $10) from 4-6pm!
Conch Republic Divers
A great dive shop in Tavernier! Farther south than Key Largo, this shop hits different reef sites than the Key Largo shops.
Paddle the Florida Keys
We love paddle boarding! This locally owned shop rents out kayaks and paddleboards and even leads guided tours. You can make a trip out to one of Jonathon's favorite islands, Kalteux Key, and hopefully see some manatees!

Where we met! Katie was managing the bistro when Jonathon came to deliver a sample of his microgreens in May of 2023- and the rest is history! Stop by this eco-friendly cafe located on the property of Island Home Garden Center for some delicious coffee, fresh food, and good vibes.
