One of my favorite areas around us! Downtown Mckinney has TONS of shops and restaurants, however they are hosting Oktoberfest the same weekend of the wedding. Aka go check it out!!

Billy Bob's Texas

The worlds largest honky tonk located an hour from our home in Allen! If you've got some time to sight see, definitely add some good ole' Texas two-stepping to your list!

Fort Worth Stockyards

No trip to Texas is complete without seeing the cattle drive! Afterward, the stockyards has a bunch of shops and restaurants - in addition to being adjacent to Billy Bobs. Make an evening out of it! The best place to view the drive is from the sidewalks in front of the Livestock Exchange Building located at 131 East Exchange Avenue. Cattle Drives: 7 Days a Week 11:30 AM & 4:00 PM
