I was throwing a launch party for my app, and I invited everyone I knew as well as a bunch of local fitness studios. I invited Orangetheory, and got a personal email response from someone named Jonathan. He said he would be there! He showed up to the party not knowing anyone (in head to toe OTF gear) and asked every blonde girl he saw, "Are you Jordan?" At one point in the night he was talking to my sister Missy & she grabbed my arm and told me I had to meet him and how great he was. That was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Over those years Jonathan paced me through the LA Marathon, got me way into working out and running, and asked me to dinner many times "JUST as friends." Then on New Years' Eve 2017, he came to a yoga class I was teaching and ended up kissing me at midnight. He told me we should start spending more time together. ;) The next day was our first date, and.... the rest was history! Now I get to marry my best friend and I couldn't be more thrilled about it. - Jordan When Jordan and I met, it was a time in our lives when our careers took first place. Looking back, I'm glad that was the case because years of friendship would blossom into the most beautiful creation I would ever know. Looking back, you can trace all the signs. All the innuendos. All the moments tilting the cusp of something more. And then it happened over way too much wine and some really good Italian food. JD asked if I could date any one person in my life, who would it be? And the first person that came to mind was her. It was always her. With New Years Eve in just a few days, I decided to be bold and make my move. Risk the friendship should it go south. Put it all on the line. And that was single handedly the best decision I ever made. - Jonathan
