They met in Philadelphia, PA, at a Christmas Toy Drive where Jonathan was the MC/lead singer of the salsa band, and Thaimi was a guest star singing her original music and playing her piano. An eventful night to say the least...a few great dance crews, some awful comedians later, and the stage caught on fire before her performance!!! When the opportunity presented itself, Jonathan friend requested Thaimi on Facebook and the laughs and friendship began. He decided he would take a chance and ask her for singing lessons. He clearly didn't need them, because she already heard him sing and noticed that he was a great singer. Thanks to his charming personality and good looks, she went along with it. That day was so special and fun. They kept exchanging glances across the room and smiling for no reason. Then before she left, he couldn't resist her beauty and went for the KISS! Unfortunately, the timing wasn't right, but they did end up continuing their friendship throughout the years. Whenever she went through bad times, his home and hugs became her safe haven. His phone calls used to arrive at what seemed like perfect timing, as if their souls were connected and there was no denying it. They would always look for one another because the love never left. January 2016, the timing became perfect and they began dating. On December 25, 2017, Jonathan asked her family and their 3 beautiful children for their blessing, and proposed Christmas morning. Of course, she said YES! They are thankful to God for this blessing. This is what true love looks like...marrying your best friend/soulmate. They thought music brought them together, but it was in God's plan all along. Now, they look forward to celebrating their beautiful union with loved ones on April 25, 2019 and beginning their happily ever after.
