Fall foliage will be just getting started at this time, but there should still be some great views especially up into the High Peaks region. For those coming from the east, take the route through Keene Valley, NY for a gorgeous trek amonsgst the High Peaks.
Hike one or hike 'em all, all three of these gorgeous hikes are under 3.5 miles and close to the town of Tupper Lake
Get outfitted with fly fishing gear, kayaks, SUPs, boats, or even a professionally guided trip on either Tupper Lake or the Racquette River.
A quarter mile trek to some beautiful falls that feed Tupper Lake.
Making the trek from Blue Mountain Lake to Long Lake en route to the venue? Take a right for the signs for "Buttermilk Falls" and catch a serene spot along the Racquette River.
If you're passing through, stop in at the Long Lake Beach and get a refreshment at the adjacent historic Adirondack Hotel. Nearby ice cream options will keep the kids at bay for the final 45 minutes to the lake.
A quick ride from the lake. and a quick 2 mile hike to the top, make the climb for a fall foliage view from the old fire tower on top. A good hike for groups with energetic kids.
Good local beer just down the road
Apparently a laundromat and donut shop make the perfect combination...don't ask why, just trust us.
