REDSTONE VILLAGE: Within walking distance of the inn there is plenty to explore in the historic village of Redstone, including The Redstone Art Gallery, Mountain Mercantile, Crystal River Collectibles, General Store and more! HOT SPRINGS: Avalanche Ranch is a short drive from Redstone and boasts 3 luxurious pools (reservations only). Penny Hot Springs is a primitive hot springs located on State Highway 133, just past mile marker 55. Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs has 16 pools to suit your needs. MOUNTAIN TRAILS: Within minutes of the Redstone Inn, you can embark on a number of breathtaking hikes along cascading creeks and into high-alpine meadows exploding with wild flowers and wildlife. FLY FISHING: Guests can enjoy fly fishing on 1.5 miles of the privately stocked Crystal River. All fishing is "catch and release." Guides and equipment are available at The Crystal Fly Shop. State licenses are required.
