Q&A

Question

When should I Rsvp?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP before August 30, 2025. Each RSVP is important and helps us plan our day accordingly, so please do so as soon as you can! If you cannot attend, we are sorry that you cannot make it and you will be greatly missed, but we would still appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity.

Question

What if I don't Rsvp in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. As much as we would love for you to attend, those who do not RSVP by August 30th will be marked as "Not Attending". We need to provide our vendors with a final guest count by a certain date. Please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting semi-formal attire for the evening. Please do not wear jeans or daytime/informal clothing. Ladies, please refrain from wearing any shades of white/cream/ivory.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Please do not invite extra guests that are not included on your RSVP. We can only accommodate those that are formally invited. If you received a plus one, their name will appear under your name when you RSVP. We would like to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends. We appreciate you understanding.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we have decided to only accommodate our wedding with children over the age of 12. Invitations and RSVP's will be very specific and will include the names of children over the age of 12 that are invited. We hope you will take this as an opportunity to enjoy this as a date night, and we greatly appreciate your willingness to make prior arrangements!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin in the chapel at 5:00pm. We ask that you please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to give yourself time to park and find a seat.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

If you choose to drive, our venue offers a large parking lot onsite. Please note, there is also an area out front for "drop-offs" in case you would like to use this for Uber/Taxi drop offs. The signs will direct you to the designated drop off or parking lot areas.

Question

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes, you can! The gate will be open the next morning from 9am to noon for anyone that leaves their vehicle overnight.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Chandelier of Gruene. Our ceremony will be in a covered and open-air chapel. The cocktail hour will take place in a partially shaded outdoor courtyard. The reception will take place indoors.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, please enjoy drinks on us! The bar will be open during cocktail hour and the reception. We ask that our guests please drink responsibly and plan transportation accordingly if you do plan to drink. We can't wait to celebrate!

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for! However, if you would like to get something more there is a registry tab located on our website with access to our registries and honeymoon fund. We are registered at the following: Amazon, Target, and Crate & Barrel. We will also accept cash that will be used toward travel expenses for our Honeymoon.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please do NOT take any photos during the ceremony. We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, meaning no phones or cameras. We ask that everyone turn off/silence their phones, and put phones away. We will have a professional photographer, as well as a content creator for videos, so we would love for you to be 100% present with us in this moment and to see your lovely faces rather than cell phones in the air. Feel free to use your phone for the rest of the evening once the bride and groom leave the chapel.
