What date do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We are planning around a hard RSVP date, August 1st, 2026. We trust that everyone will RSVP on time. However, in the spirit of transparency, please remember, if you do not RSVP on time, you will sadly be taken off the guest list. It is a private estate that is only accessible by our hired shuttles and there will be no possible exceptions.

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love to celebrate with everyone, we are doing a small, intimate wedding. If a plus one is not named on your invitation, that means the invitation is only for you. As much as we would love to include everyone, this is not a kid-friendly engagement. The only children attending are those listed in the wedding party. We appreciate your understanding!

What is the dress code for the Wedding Day?

Answer

We are planning a very whimsical black-tie optional wedding. What does that mean? You can wear traditional black-tie attire (tuxedo or floor-length gown) or a formal alternative like a dark suit or a cocktail dress. If you want to pull inspiration from Lord of the Rings, even better! Do keep in mind the ceremony is outdoors and we are having a fall wedding in the mountains (at a higher altitude.) What NOT to Wear: -Stay away from White and Green -Especially no Dark Forest or Emerald Green -No Sage or Olive Green -No Casual Attire -No Jeans -No Neon If you are in the wedding party and have questions, please contact Sasha.

Is there a shuttle for guests staying nearby on Wedding Day?

Answer

For guests staying at nearby hotels, shuttle service will be available from the West Jefferson Hotel and Holiday Inn Express in West Jefferson. Pick up begins at 2:15 pm on October 12th. Please arrive on time and ready to go at 2:30. Throughout the evening, return shuttles to the West Jefferson Hotel will be available for guests who are ready to head back. If you plan to drive to the venue, please reach out to Sasha or Jonathan in advance. We’ll connect you with our wedding planner to make sure your vehicle is properly registered and that your arrival is as easy and seamless as possible.

What are the details regarding the Welcome Party?

Answer

Our welcome party will be held on-site at Twickenham House in the Sunroom, where we’ll kick off the wedding weekend with a cozy, relaxed evening surrounded by our favorite people. We wanted this night to feel warm, casual, and family-style — a chance to settle in, share a meal, raise a glass, and enjoy time together before the festivities of the wedding day begin. We’ll be serving local Appalachian barbecue (a must while you’re in the mountains!), along with wine and beer, and we’re looking forward to an evening filled with great conversation, a few heartfelt speeches, and plenty of fun. Signage will be available on-site to help guide guests to the Sunroom. Please note that shuttle service will not be available for the welcome party; however, parking is available at Twickenham House. Uber and Lyft are not available in the Jefferson area, so we encourage everyone to plan transportation accordingly or reach out to our wedding planner (her number will be provided as we approach the wedding). We can’t wait to welcome you to the mountains, share a drink, and begin this very special weekend together. **Dress Code: Casual Cocktail Attire** (meaning no jeans or sweats)
