What is this?

Answer

You have been invited to our party following a small ceremony with just our immediate families. This will be very similar to everything you have come to expect from a wedding reception. There will be music, dancing, dinner, drinks, and games on the vineyard lawn- all overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at a hotel?

Answer

We have a room block at the Inn on-site with a limited number of rooms. We have also listed other accommodation options under the “Travel” tab, but unfortunately we do not have a block at the other hotels. There is plenty of availability at these hotels, but keep in mind this is the busy season in the Finger Lakes region so don’t procrastinate booking your room (like we usually do). Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you are having any trouble finding a place to stay.

What should I wear?

What will the weather be like?

Answer

This is upstate NY. While it is often lovely in September, we can’t rule out snow at this point. We would recommend you check the day before you leave.

Are there any plans for post-reception festivities?

Answer

The end of the night will feature s’mores at the fire pit and we’ll likely linger there for a while after the reception before calling it a night. While I’m sure the night scene in Penn Yan is electric, we don’t have any big plans to hit the bars for an after party.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! We would love to see their cute outfits.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes! Check the “Schedule” tab for optional events/activities that will take place Friday evening through Sunday morning. Please check the “Things To Do” tab for other activity suggestions.

Are there shuttles from hotels to the venue?

Answer

Yes. There will be shuttles from Hampton Inn and Best Western in Penn Yann, to and from the venue. Buses depart from Hampton Inn at 5:00pm and 5:50pm. Buses depart from Best Western at 5:10pm and 5:55pm. Shuttles will leave the venue at 10:00pm and 10:45pm.
