Hirsh is Jon's older brother and former roommate of 25 years (on and off). Now, they golf together, at varying levels of ability (Hirsh has a lot of room for improvement), and discuss all things sports, politics, and of course, music.

Zachary Ament

Best Man

Zach is Jon's younger brother and social media maven. Zach can always be counted on for fantasy advice and an opinion on the latest news topic of the day.

Ryan Levine

Best Man

Ryan is Jon's brother from another mother. They have been friends ever since Ryan moved to Strongwood and have been doing everything together ever since, from Ament family vacations to Ament family Bachelor Parties.

Andrew Hamburger

Groomsman

Andrew (aka Hamburger) and Jon met through his mom who was Jon's dental hygienist, which is where Andrew began sharpening his pun-related humor (don't even ask him what time to go to the dentist). They would go to college together and eventually become roommates in Arlington, where Hamburger learned how to deal with indoor hurricanes.

Jordan and Jon have been friends ever since the days of Chatsworth Elementary, and continuing through college at UMD and post-college in Baltimore. They have plenty of great stories over the course of those years, but avoid asking Jordan about them or you could be there all night!

Jordan Shapiro

Jordan and Jon became close friends through the inaugural one-way social cultural exchange program of Owings Mills, allowing one McDonough student to slum it with the public school children. That friendship has grown as they became roommates at UMD and still live in Baltimore together and enjoyed nice COVID walks of Federal Hill.

Jason Goren

Jason and Jon met on the baseball fields of Owings Mills Rec Sports, where both of them were known more for their parents than their exploits on the field. The friendship would continue when they both lived in Baltimore where they would golf, enjoy the city and commiserate about the state of Baltimore sports.

William Bounds

Will is Jon's future brother-in-law, which is providing Jon something his other siblings could not, a brother who could potentially physically defend him. While there is an age gap, Will and Jon have become close through their common love of the Ravens, and we assume, Sara.
