Brody has been one of Jonathan’s best friends since 10th grade in Woodbury, MN. Throughout high school these two were nearly inseparable, and could frequently be caught in the Taco Bell parking lot smoking cigars and causing mayhem.

This girl has been by my side since the 7th-grade. We have traveled the world together from Peru to Chile, to the majestic state of Iowa. We've been through it all and I'm so grateful for this lifelong friendship.

Josh is Jonathan’s oldest brother (only by 2 minutes) and has always been there to torment, trample and teach him. Josh’s sense of humor has always left Jonathan envious and he has always been there to set a good example for his little brother.

It may have taken us 1/3 of PT school to realize how much we needed each other - but I am sure glad we did. She is so much more than my PT BFF - you're my forever droppin' low dance partner, pizza & wing devouring, soul sister.

Ben is Jonathan’s SECOND oldest brother (only by 2 minutes). Ben was always Jonathan’s idol growing up and kept him pushing to get better in every way. His hard work and dedication to the things he loves will continue to set the bar for his “kid” brother.

We met in college at NC State - she was and still is the life of the party! She was also one of the lucky ones to be on the infamous cruise where the couple met!
Nate

Nate has been one of Jonathan’s closest friends since being on the same 7th grade baseball team. They remained friends throughout high school and even beyond as roommates in college in Charlotte, NC. Nate joined the US Navy in 2010 and helped inspire Jonathan to eventually take the same leap into the service.
Chris "Cambo"

Chris “Cambo” has been one of Jonathan’s best friends since early middle school. As neighbors growing up, it was easy to find these two together either playing sports or starting a juvenile insurgency throughout the neighborhood. Cambo is an Army veteran, and also helped to inspire Jonathan to eventually join the Army as well.
