Let the good times roll!

A mutual friend, shout out to Amie O'Kane, had been trying for a while to get us together. Finally Jonathan got up the nerve to begin the conversation in November of 2018. After several chats on the phone we decided it was time to meet in person. Our first date was on Black Friday at a Christmas tree farm with the goal of picking out a Christmas tree for Samantha. It wasn't an easy decision, but after what seemed like hours, Samantha finally settled on the perfect Charlie Brown tree! We took it back to her apartment, set it up and decorated it and from there the rest was history!

After 3 years of dating, Jonathan decided it was time to FINALLY pop the question. After receiving the blessings of Jack and Terri, he devised a master plan that was surely to catch Samantha off guard! He contacted friends and family and had them all meet over at his parents house where she thought they were just getting together for some family pictures. Once we arrived at the house we walked over to this beautiful arbor that Jonathan's brother built and proceeded to take a few couples pictures when all of a sudden Jonathan dropped down to one knee and all our friends and family popped out from behind the pool house leaving Samantha in a state of shock and awe. Fighting back tears and a few laughs she said YES and we proceeded to celebrate with a pool party and some good ole Eastern NC BBQ!
