FAQs

Question

Are you guys married?

Answer

We were legally married in a tiny ceremony on May 9, 2020. Our big "wedding" will now be a first anniversary party, May 8, 2021. We hope to see you there!

Question

So are we doing this, or what?

Answer

God willing and the creek don't rise, we are still doing this, on May 8, 2021. We'll still have a ceremony, a reception, a caterer, a band, a second line, and a wonderful time. The rehearsal dinner and other private events will still be on. It is our hope that all our original guests will be able to attend on this new date. Please do edit your RSVP with new information. We will continue to update this site with new information.

Question

May I bring my children?

Answer

You may, but please be aware that we will serve liquor during the reception, and that New Orleans offers a huge variety of entertainments for adults. Please note the number of children when you RSVP.

Question

May I bring a guest?

Answer

Please understand that this wedding has grown unexpectedly, and we are now pushing the venue's capacity for the reception. That said, if we've forgotten to invite your spouse, partner, or significant other, please call us and let us know. We want everyone to have a good time!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Only on the street.

Question

How do I get to and from the airport?

Answer

Uber or Lyft. They will follow the legally-mandated standardized pricing. A cab will soak you.

Question

How do I get around New Orleans?

Answer

The buses don't have perfect coverage, but they generally run on time. You can download the app, charge a $3 day pass to your credit card, and ride all day: see https://www.norta.com/ Both Uber and Lyft run in New Orleans. The busy sections, such as the French Quarter, have good cab coverage.

For all the days along the way
