Jonathan and Rebekah met in Fort Worth, Texas through mutual friends during 2019. Jonathan was initially drawn to Rebekah by her beautiful smile. The more he talked with her, the more he was attracted to her intelligence and kindness. Rebekah could tell from Jonathan's genuine spirit and his ability to always make her laugh that they would be a perfect fit for one another. Jonathan and Rebekah have talked every day since they began dating, and have supported each other through their time in law school and medical school. They are so excited to celebrate their marriage with their family and friends in 2024.

Jonathan proposed to Rebekah next to a beautiful waterfall in Richardson, Texas. He surprised her by telling her that they were going to dinner at a nice restaurant with family. When they started walking toward the waterfall, she knew that he was about to ask the big question. She did not hesitate one bit when she said yes, as she knew Jonathan was "the one" long before the proposal.
