Let's take you back to January 2017 when Rachel and Jonathan first met. Rachel met Jonathan through her best friend's friend and she never knew at the time that she was meeting her future husband. Over the course of several months, Rachel and Jonathan would attend many social events with their friends where they would find each other and spend most of the time with each other, laughing and getting to know one another. Additionally, Rachel somehow convinced Jonathan to attend a yoga session at FGCU with her (where he learned his favorite yoga pose - Happy Baby). Later on that year, on the 21st night of September (cue the song "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire), Jonathan asked Rachel out on a date and the rest is history! In April 2024, Jonathan brought Rachel to Denver, Colorado - a destination spot she has been wanting to visit ever since they began dating. To name a few fun adventures while there, they got to visit a beer spa, an immersive art museum, and a lively jazz club! A big highlight was Jonathan and Rachel exploring the Garden of the Gods and then watching the sun set behind the mountains where Jonathan got down on one (nervous) knee and popped the question! With several years of laughter, music concerts, and traveling on adventures, including Jonathan taking Rachel on her first international trip and Rachel introducing Jonathan to Halloween Horror Nights for the first time (an annual event now), we are so excited to see our next chapter surrounded by our closest friends and family!
